(Not the same as the pounds on pudding you
have heard about.)
Ingredients:
1 - can evaporated milk
1 - package of cream cheese
2 - packets of Knox unflavored gelatin
2 - egg yokes only from large sized eggs. do not use the egg whites.
2 - cups of water
Equal can be used to sweeten with no side effects and the kittens/cats love the
sweet taste. Beware of using real sugar. It can cause loose stools. If you want
use sugar then only 1/2 teaspoon.
Goal is to get this blended a even as possible
Large bowl, add 2 cups of hot water, add 2 packets of Knox unflavored Gelatin.
Mix well.
You can either let your cream cheese get
room temp or even microwave it till soft. (DO NOT over COOK IT). or it will not
blend into the water and milk.
After cream cheese has been soften, add to your bowl. Mix well, if the cream
cheese still has not blended, you can place over a very low heat and stir
constantly till blended. (again do not over heat)
Now take this mixture and add your can milk slowly add your egg yokes. Keep
stirring.
Now is the time to add your sweetness. I prefer the equal as it adds sweet taste
and doesn't have the sugar that can cause loose bowls.
You can store this in many ways. Either in small bowls and freeze and take out
as needed.
it will liquefy when warmed. Some people like to put into ice trays for small
servings and then pop out and store in a freezer bag. This way you can take out
one cube at a time as needed.
