First: Kittens need High
Protein, They can not store Protein like other animals can. The first year
is important. so they need to be on a kitten food. After the first
year, then each cat needs to be placed on the food that is right for it's
personal health issues.

Second: we note the Fat,
to make sure they didn't try and push the protein numbers up by using a lot of
fat.
-
Third: we look at the fiber. We all know what
fiber does for us. The more fiber, the more output. It can also make
the stools thinner. Also this is a carbohydrate. Kittens have particularly
delicate digestive systems and don't ye produce, insufficient quantities, the
enzyme needed to digest carbohydrates.
